Wow, is it particularly high right now? If that was normal, just the fees would make mining a $35 billion a year industry.

Lol, I remember having a long debate with someone about what will happen when the rewards are too small to keep mining... Back then they couldn't wrap their mind about fees being the main source of income for miners.
