RATE LIMIT is NECESSITY even for PAID CUSTOMERS
customer paying does not have RIGHT to VIOLATE service rules.
ONLY RATE LIMIT MITIGATION can increase UPTIME/SLA

its not about paid or free - its about who is ABUSING - attacking the service with what vector
also 100 paywall only will never bring any new normie users
there are relays that can paid with LTC XMR or swapping any coin - thats is also not the point here.
All I’m saying is that liking 5 notes within a minute shouldn’t cause someone to be rate limited. That’s not abnormal user activity. Mitigating spam/abuse is understandable. typical normal usage in that case will NOT get rate limited or never feel it as in meme if config is correct and npub is not trying to abuse
