In theory this is what I would do, but there are some lines by brands I've formerly trusted that have gone to shit. I assume they change factories and compromise quality/longevity/durability/materials. I'm a bit skeptical of a lot of these brands now, including north face.
Just for example Barbour jackets are also usually reliable, but I think fairly recently they changed most of their lines apart from one or two and moved their construction out of the original south Shields factory. And obviously the quality dropped. There are only a couple of their lines (I forget which) that stayed in the original factory. So it sort of feels like you need to research a lil maybe. If you can be arsed lol.
