Depends. For one, definitely so. Then again however, it still means all communication coming from interoperating messengers still go through Meta servers, including data and metadata. This feels concerning to say the very least...
Data is E2E encrypted, so they will only have access to your metadata.
I find this useful : I can migrate to signal while still being able to communicate with my friends that are on WhatsApp.
It’s all about what you can tolerate or not.
Agreed. I'm also extremely torn about that, with both aspects in mind.
