haha, yeah but fuck trump, he's just a trust rebuilding exercise, so they can tighten the noose more next time, and a good effigy to set on fire for their next round of escalation towards totalitarianism
but yeah, i'm more concerned about this being done in a shotgun justice style and the wrong man being imprisoned... i really don't believe it's Luigi, he doesn't fit the profile at all, someone who actually goes and does something like this leaves some traces about their grudge around, and there just isn't any for this guy, even though he WAS ACTUALLY A VICTIM OF THE "VICTIM" OF THE SHOOTING
so, yeah, what to say... it's gonna get spicy, almost certainly this is a clear case of fascism being responded to and this is a widespread problem in corporate and federal government in the USA
We've seen vigilante justice celebrated before in America - see Trayvon Martin getting murdered by George Zimmerman. Half of the country thought it was ok to kill a little boy in a hoody because a grown man was scared. Zimmerman walks around as a free man today. Mainly because SOME of the public was ok with the murder.
This shooter had support from most people BEFORE anyone knew a thing.
I've seen people online theorizing that Luigi had major chronic pain from a botched back surgery and that it likely drove him crazy. The public is already building his defense.
this is a big problem in USA history of justice, this kind of shotgun justice
the press is the main responsible party for it, the US based media are the most inflammatory shock jockeys of the world of media at all... though these days almost all of the media are vendors of sensation
IMO, the people who leaked the identity of the suspect should be sent to jail, automatically
this stuff is not ok, it's one thing when people talk scuttlebutt but it's another when government and law enforcement actually declare they are fingering someone, this is not ok, this is not how it works, it completely biases the adjudication of the person's defense in a very negative way
And this makes jury selection impossible!
