I fall into I & II
I would enjoy highlights more and find them far more useful if they were better differentiated in app UI from regular notes (Nostur does this well for instance) and if they consistently linked to the original source.
nostr:npub1lrnvvs6z78s9yjqxxr38uyqkmn34lsaxznnqgd877j4z2qej3j5s09qnw5 can you share a few example event IDs and screenshots where:
1) highlight UI is poor contrast
2) there are no link backs
Here’s an example I just highlighted. This was highlighted from the latest article posted by Breez today. I’ll paste the event ID below with screenshots.
- In Nostur it is clearly a highlight with the source author mentioned and tapping on the text takes you to the source event.
- Damus indicates that it’s a highlight but gives no author or source event info, and no way to navigate to the source.
- Nostr.band doesn’t show the highlighted text but finds the highlight event. No source author or event info.
- Iris.to indicates that it’s a highlight but no source or author info, and can’t navigate to the source.
- Primal iOS only shows the highlight on the article. It doesn’t show up at all in the regular feed.
- Yakihonne iOS doesn’t show it in the feed.
Event ID for the highlight event:

Here’s that event ID again. Remove the space after “nevent”
