The bricking of the CCs is a total money grab. I'm surprised not more people complain about this. You get the gadget, you try it out. You get back to it weeks later and have no way of starting over if you didn't write down the pin.
Trezor (Model T and Model One - These have actually been the most reliable of the ones that aren't the SeedSigner)
Blockstream Jade - the software was total dogshit.
ColdCard MK4 (just had one brick for no good reason during normal use after only several months of owning it).
ColdCard Q - This one has had issues with cameras picking up the QR code on the screen due to the poor backlight quality. The SeedSigner has worked every time with ease. I have to resort to micro SD transfers with the Q. The QR scanner works great, just not the reverse. One of the PIN entry features also completely failed when I tested it. So much for the best in security.
I've spend a lot of money on this shit and the nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl has been the only one to not get in my fucking way and make using hardware signers annoying.

Well, this issue wasn't a PIN issue. I'd be okay with it having a brick feature for security, but it allowed me to login and started having issues when I was using it THEN turned off and bricked itself. It has the green blessed light and everything. No one else touched it. Probably a weird hardware issue, but not one I've seen on any other device.
