My Dad always told me from a young age, it’s not how much money you make, it’s what you do with it that counts.

I know lots of people that make a hell of a lot more fiat money than I do, and they’re pretty much broke.

very true

Absolutely correct. Spending more than you earn is voluntary self-enslavement.

Minimum 15%

23%.

There is a Swabian proverb: "You learn to save from rich people."

And another: "Swabians are Scots who have been banished from the country because of their greed."

And: around 30 percent.

"Greed I a little bit more than enough."

Morgen Richard is an OG bitcoiner and financial planner that wrote the book Personal Finance QuickStart Guide, she recommends 23% as the path to financial freedom in retirement. Check her out for good advice and a nice side order of great bitcoin takes.

Fucking autocorrect ha - Rochard not Richard....

hey Laura, if you're interested in this saving topic I strongly suggest you to read Early Retirement Extreme - Jacob Lund Fisker. He talks about F.I.R.E phylosophy, a bit extreme but very very interesting :)
