I assume, that nostr:npub10stmgzyf6yeqs00wru0s3lmu262jd5x6g6l6dam7k5warff0qj9q4y25jt and nostr:npub10z639g5nz95nu56hcn8jaz342tk43teaskpd5sua730d2fxln0lq4jwk04 are a malicious bots. On Primal it shows me, that they follow me day by day. So I have seen, that nostr:npub1q6wrnf7ue6wdxwjc2z5wxfwp7eykahady78hjh7wvqkmjsvwva2qcypndn , nostr:npub18kgqh0sqk8z524fcv6rr20hltahz75hww6kzceuy28ncyr9p2ldsq3kqvm, nostr:npub1hcnntn7hnwe4punz62favp6fz9r3j5exw0wmxpaj7hgfyqypxqzqpxqygc, nostr:npub19hs0lg9vyd0lghayeju5fnflx0melawjrl8etuqln9gkhd4mwtxq2t5jcn and nostr:npub1ecj23gtrdr8sj7zmcusl9dfuem0dg7wmgvwe3uhl7kxm9wafn5psn7h6up follow those npubs.

I wanted to make you guys concious, that I have seen this malicious behaviour. I assume those npubs are used to promote other bots with credibility through trusted follows. So they try to breach the world of trust. When you come to a similar conclusion, might you are willing to unfollow or even mute those accounts, so others will also not have them displayed within their world of trust ;)

Have a great day. ;)

People on Nostr are… well… people. I'm working on a solution for this in Haven: a private local ownertrust list where you can indicate your level of trust in a given npub. This covers use cases like: “I want to follow npub1xxx, but I don’t trust them to do proper diligence, so don’t consider their follows in my WoT.”

I also has a ignore list for folks to ignore bots and annoying noub.

I’ve been running this for the past two months or so, and it has been working well for me.

Cool. Really intrested in this. Is this a thing one can use with various clients? Would it for example also be compatible with #coracle? Since I enjoy within coracle that I can filter my feed for a minimum WoT score. Always when I go to an other client I see far more destructive notes, that do not give me anything. Here with coracle I feel to have gained a very great feed, I can learn and grow on.

Yes. Haven is a personal relay and Blossom server that you can use with multiple clients. I'm not sure if Coracle is Outbox enabled ( nostr:nprofile1qqsf03c2gsmx5ef4c9zmxvlew04gdh7u94afnknp33qvv3c94kvwxgspz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz7qgewaehxw309a5xyu3wvdhhyctrd3jjuum0vd5kzmp0er5gcs ), but it does have custom views where you can look only at your own outbox and inbox relays.

Other from restricting your inbox relay to your WoT, Haven allows you to keep a copy of your own notes and media, and to serve them directly instead of relying on third parties.

PS: The official version of Haven on Bitvora's repo is WoT-enabled, but I haven't merged the ownertrust + TOFU model yet. I may contribute it to the upcoming v2 if I'm confident it is stable enough for me to commit to backwards compatibility.

The official Haven repo is here:

My docker enabled fork with some extra goodies (but not yet the ownertrust model) is here

Thanks!

So it will be published when it has releases. I added it to my database. :-)

No problem. Small bugfix release coming soon. Thanks.

Great!

Yep, coracle uses outbox and is is haven friendly

Cool than I will defnitly check this out. Sounds great.
