As JCD says, LOOK, I get what y'all are saying. I can make an argument in your favor saying it's similar to exchanges versus self custody.

I'm trying to do this by self hosting and what not. And I ran into a shit ton of issues getting to work. I pushed through, I learned a lot, the community helped out, but it's not easy.

I really don't think this kind of sarcasm is helpful to people who want to support true v4v, peer to peer music.

I'm trying to document the mistakes I made to help others who want to do go down this path.

But as someone who wants to learn how to do this, this post is not encouraging. I'd rather see posts about how to set things up, how to troubleshoot things etc...
