Hopefully it’s cheaper, but my last experience was $1500 6 years ago.
It’s also not a guaranteed thing, so they take the drive first without payment & let you know what they can get.

I threw out sats once. 😭
If nothing on it is important, put it aside (don't throw away) and buy a new one.
If in 2 years you remembered that you have some files on this drive you can recover it then.
