Market cap of stocks is not usually calculated using their assets. It's a forward looking calculation.

the method of calculation is always biased, whatever they say bitcoin's market cap is, is based on a lot of wash trading and rehypothecated claims, so whatever they say bitcoin is worth, is probably 1000th of reality and whatever they say microsoft is worth is probably 100,000x reality
Not according to the people who are buying and holding it 🤷
