I’d like to say something else about this, as a society we put the responsibility on the survivors to step forward against powerful abusers but it’s rare that anyone offers any type of 24/7 365 protection.

“Accuse the world’s most powerful people of abuse, protect yourself and hope to get some justice. Good luck staying alive!” - The World

We keep asking folks to risk their lives to expose powerful abusers and the average person isn’t set up for that. There is very little set up for that. Set up protection for survivors and then perhaps they would be more willing to step forward.

Nostr plays a roll here btw. A survivor could speak here anonymously and no matter how powerful the abuser the content can not be removed. It’s not perfect for every case or every survivor but it could be helpful for some. It’s one form of offering a little protection. nostr:note17khcp5chp24rzhhrax88f6jzwy990avep9mmzsqqf0zckled7rzsx390r3

Exactly, not every case is the same but at least here there’s freedom for them. 💜

Of course folks would have to know that nostr is an option for that. I don’t believe that it’s set up fully for whistleblowers type of activity yet but I am hopeful.

It will get there, albeit a little slow but all good things take time.

I’m historically a spazz. I’m always freaking out a few months-years too early. So don’t ever listen to me about timing. 😂

How? What anyone says on social media, even Nostr, won't be used to bring people to justice, or to protect them from prosecution. This is just another insipid attempt to promote Nostr clients. And being/staying anonymous just leaves one blowing into the wind.
