NRA Celebrates 152nd Birthday

We know they do their best to fight for 2nd Amendment rights so we dont wind up in an oppressive tyranny.

But to me the most important thing they do is teach. NRA has set the standards and taught safety and proper firearm handling to

-military

-law enforcement

-civilians

-hunters

-competition sport shooters

There catalog of classes is unmatched, nationwide and affordable to most.

Keep up the great work #NRA

WLP needs to go.

The NRA is a trashy Fudd org.

I give money to FPC, GOA, and local groups.

It is unfortunate they got thrust into the political BS. They were never designed for this but no one else was doing it at the time.

Their classes are still the best the county has. After training in schools and bases across the US Ive rarely found better firearms education.

Sure, but they better be after 152 years. I'm still not giving them a dime into WLP is gone.

Ive never donated anything to them but if you’ve never taken classes it’s something I feel everyone should do. Safety is step one in this industry

My safety classes were in basic... I paid way too much for them. 😅

LOL F 😂. Well if you ever want advanced training it’s on me. I love doing it.

My last group was serious. Polish soldiers going to Ukraine to help them out and do clandestine missions.

But I picked up a new student that just wants to learn how to shoot skeet and trap. Those are a hell of alot more fun.

I really need a basic pistol class. I'm.. OK. But, I know I need correction of some points.

I've been shooting 20+ in trap lately

Gosh, that's just so much fun.

That really good numbers. I already told the new student not to expect much. No high score on day 1 LOL

I've been shooting trap at least once a month for 5-6 months now. I got much more consistent after I learned a bit about shotgun fit and how important it is. I added a buttpad and my scores jumped ~5.

Every citizen needs to know weapons handling and safety.

Not just guns but machetes, axes, hand grenades, and crossbows.

We have to plan for the next civil unrest, not the last.

Agreed. The first thing new people get taught in firearms classes is that a gun is a tool that can malfunction. You need to learn to protect yourself in every situation. The best defence classes will teach you how to protect yourself without a tool because you might not always have one and they are only as good as the user.

Its better to be the weapon in the room then have a weapon in the room.
