TBH ... that's what I saw happening & why I never bothered. Don't know if anyone remembers #FirstClassBBS (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FirstClass) ... but back in the day that was a lot of fun to mucker around with until the bills came in, or the community got too spicy. #Mastodon seemed (to me) so much like FC that I passed on the whole platform.
