i wish i had a picture to share in full glory what a near full moon rising over the evergreen tree horizon next to Jupiter looks like…as the shadows of honking geese fly past it. But i only have the words for what i just saw.
I have just stuck to pointing my telescope (dobsonian) at Jupiter so my kids can watch the orbit of the moons.
