I used #nostr without enabling Orbot, and one of the relay owners sent me a direct message saying, ‘Hey, what’s up *****? Nice to see you back on #nostr.’ All is good about nostr and it’s censorship resistance but it’s pointless if there is no privacy and your IP is being logged!

Always use VPN and or Tor/Orbot
Only connect to relays you feel you can moderately trust as they can see all you do of they want.
This is true for the internet as it is for nostr.
Once you doxxed yourself on here you have to nuke your nym and start over and over! Privacy should be by default!
