The library is slowly becoming a fossil. They're fighting to keep up with the times but that has made the library a wholly different place than it was when I was a kid. It's getting loud lately.

That's unfortunate. I have very fond memories of libraries as a kid being a nice quiet escape and just a safe space and good spot to hang out and read.
