Just a random observation. I noticed that follower counts on both nostrum.pro and nostr.io have both been cut by roughly half for everyone on the top followers list. This lines up with my own followers count being displayed here on Snort.

The update for NostrGram in testing now restores full follower counts now that it's pulling from a db with the entire Nostr history from all known relays.

that would fix it for NostrGram / Nostrum.pro but why would nostr.io as well as Short be showing these differences too? it's an odd coincidence.

If they're doing what I was doing it could be that they're not gathering data from paid relays because of the spam problem.

hmm. that's a good point. it looks like nostr.band stats are *accurate*.
