I'm in #PHP for 18 years, mostly because of #Drupal, Symphony. Since a year or so, I'm switching to Python - can't tell why, it's just more fun programming in #Python than in PHP. Any thoughts on this?

I'm into #Drupal and #Symfony as well. I still enjoy it, but I can imagine when you play around with other languages it can be even more enjoyable. But I never did, so I don't have a solid judgement on this... As far PHP, I think the language has catched up with many latest backend features offered by other languages. So I'm optimistic that PHP is here to stay for another 25 years (the Lindy Effect is very strong for PHP compared to other languages).
