Good history, but they’re being nice. What they ended up building is regarded and doesn’t help with the traffic. They took forever to finish building it which caused more traffic for more than a decade. I don’t know any locals who actually ride it and pretty much everyone hates it. It doesn’t even go to the airport, Waikiki, or the university. You can go from nowhere to nowhere on it. Hahaha peak 🤡🌎.
People I’ve talked to said the whole thing was a scam to funnel tax payer money into contractor pockets

That sucks. A train for tourists that doesn’t run along tourist paths. 🤡 🌍
It was also supposed to be a train for locals to get to work and for university students. Lots of locals live at home while attending the university. Causes a lot of traffic.
