It is the Bitcoin organization that blocked the conversation, it is impossible to know which developer is behind it.

Honestly it probably had to be. A github PR is not the place for that potentially never ending argument.

That's the unfortunate thing about that repo, there are a *lot* of people wanting to have their say. Understandably, but it gets ridiculous at some point.
