Ok, this is close to an idea I had. Someone needs to get in Caulkins’ ear and sell him on the final sequel “Home Alone 50.” This is a serious, gritty movie, that ends in a heartwarming reunion after Kevin, age 50 and estranged from his wife and son after serving in Special Forces and dealing with PTSD. His son is abducted and between the efforts of both father and son and their flat refusal to quit, obviously involving clever problem solving and traps, they reunited. Because obviously Kevin’s son will be a hellion. I figure you can role some “Ransom of Red Cheif.” You could even have a realistic intro to Having getting the help he needs and returning to his family.
