C.M.E. impact expected tonight causing G3 magnetic storm conditions. #Earth has has had an unusually long bombardment of protons the past day with S3 storm conditions almost hit (peak was 956 pfu). Wasn't a great time for the 3 #astronauts to be on the way to the International #Space Station.
Actually it looks like things are happening earlier than expected as we seem to be getting the leading edge hitting us now. Perhaps coronal home being pushed on by c.m.e.
