Looking for community input into the Terms of Service we're working on. Some people consider any bot account to be a "spam" account. We are looking for users' opinions on what defines a "spam" account. We did realize our current setup has our nostr account following npubs we have removed/blocked relays side due to behavior deemed as spamming. Moving forward, we plan to have a quarterly transparency report and a means of people appealing being blocked.

Any thoughts on this approach are appreciated. We want to include everyone in keeping Relayable/nostr a means of open access and free speech. So any ideas are welcome!

As always, if you wish to report an issue with an account, please DM us the pertinent details, and we'll follow up! You can DM us here or DM @jascha directly.

(thanks to #[0] for catching the issue with updating followers to match blocked accounts.)

Well, spam accounts are pretty easy to define. They are those accounts that aim to either promote a certain product/service, or drive traffic to another website/social media platform without providing relevant content or value for the users on the receiving end. If an account is constantly repeating posts, messaging users without consent or sending irrelevant and unwanted data then it is bothering others and disrupt their online experience which can be considered 'spamming'.

And kudos to you for being transparent as well as providing means of appeal/feedback to ensure free speech & access at Relayable/nostr!
