How many books do you read per year (approximately)?
I just got back into reading. Currently reading Hyperion.
I've gone through phases in life where I read a ton then others where I don't read a book for years. #thatslife

My reading kinda ebbs and flows, but I've been reading a fair but lately. Over the last month or so I've read two books in their entirety, read parts of another one or two, and re-listened to a 6 book audiobook series. A lot of times I use audiobooks and ebooks via TTS as background audio when working/gaming/driving etc.
Overall, if audiobooks count, maybe 30-50. If audiobooks (and using TTS to read some or all of an ebook) don't count then maybe 2-10 depending on the year. But just a rough guess.
That's awesome, bro! π€
Heh, well, in the last year, I read my husband's bitcoin book while translating it, and then I wrote most of, and read our latest book multiple times as I edited it, and now I'm reading while editing my husband's soon to be released book.
I think these are all I've worked on this year, so 3 I guess π€
Then we've listened to a few audio books too, but I usually don't count those to the same degree as actual reading.
Oh that's so awesome! ππ§‘

The spring before I met my husband I had the goal to read from the bible, a Christian nonfiction, and a fiction book every day, so I got through quite a lot that year. But then I got married and completely changed my habits and instead of being alone a lot so I had silence to read, I had another human who would talk to me, or listen to stuff "out loud", which is how I got vicariously into bitcoin π but basically stopped reading, and then started writing my own books instead. π
Makes sense. Glad you're writing π
