The storm yesterday was quite scary, was trying to stay indoors. Stepped outside for a moment to get my bins, they blew into the road.
Hope your power returns soon, glad you have heat, make sure you got plenty of non perishable food.
Try make the most of no electric, you get some peace and quiet no technology. I remember when I had a power cut years ago, it was best sleep I've ever had. Hopefully doesn't last too long. 🤞
Our village has regular power cuts, about 3 or 4 a year, so we are used to them around here.
I have LED lights, several charged power bricks and a larder with enough food to survive armageddon.
It's still stormy, but gradually calming down.

Luckily everything is ok here. One of my fences has come down which I will need to sort. But otherwise nothing drastic.
Year before last we had a freak occurrence "micro storm" of sorts in the summer. It was crazy, I've never seen anything like it, seemed to be localised to where I lived (there were no weather reports). Lasted around 1 hours, I thought the trees would come down. And then few hours later sun was out and all was calm. This is a different kind if storm, today seems much better, gust 40mph, yesterday was over 60. seems like we've seen the worst of it. 🤞
