Deep purple cannabis!

This cannabis is a f1 cross between pineapple pomegranate and super lemon haze. Pictured below:

I tried making an f2 cross but failed to get viable seed so I'm falling back to the f1 seed this year. Pretty much all the plants expressed the same dark purple finish while some exhibited the pink pistols of the pineapple pomegranate. I'm trying to select for the pineapple pomegranate look with the super lemon haze high. Not sure how it ends up with deep purple but nature is wild.

Bag appeal is the boutique cannabis grower's best marketing tool

By far. Beautiful flowers sell themselves. There will always be a high end outdoor grown market.

Beautiful. Huge respect to all plant breeders.

Lots of success. If you have any questions about #breeding or #CannabisSativaL feel free to ask.

I'm definitely an amateur just doing what seems intuitive. Do you think keeping the males in small pots to hinder thier growth will lead to small plant genetics? I'm trying to encourage large vigorous growth in the genetics.

Keeping the plants stockier does not affect the genetics per se. To make a good selection and really get to know the characteristics of the female as well as male parent, it is generally recommended to cultivate these genetics through several cycles.

However, if you do not take cuttings (clones) from the plants, I would not try to prevent the males from growing if this is what you want to encourage. A normal growth and in the best case even a resin stocking on the male pollen perennials, for example, would be advantageous.
