He seems too smart to not get Bitcoin at a deep level. The engineering alone should be catnip to him. Why keep fucking around with Doge, etc…. He has no obligation to be better, but it’s frustrating that he isn’t.

I think he's a smooth talker and essentially just a mouthpiece and salesman. Nowhere close to being an engineer or genius. There's evidence that his "engineering" background is completely fraudulent. All of his companies have had other people inventing the product. He's just there to make sales and network and look smart.
