essentially visceral fat is an indication that fat is getting deposited inside of the organs ( fatty liver etc. ) and of course since the liver regulates the blood ( cholesterol levels etc ) once it starts to take on that damage the blood level start to go out of alignment and the arteries begin to clog ...

statin companies are happy to sell you drugs to "fix" the cholesterol levels but they have no idea what even the right blood profile is - they aren't "fixing" the blood, they are just wrestling the blood levels to match the metrics that they themselves have arbitrarily declared to be optimal based on their own fake science

cholesterol types are a spectrum and you can arbitrarily divide that spectrum into categories in different ways until you can make a drug that has the effect on the categories which you have arbitrarily defined matching what correlates to health ...

but it's just a cherry picked correlation - you haven't addressed the root cause and if you choose any way to partition the spectrum into categories it will be obvious your drug doesn't work, but of course all of the "science" is done by the pharma companies and all of the "research" is funded by them, and all the medical schools funded by them as well - a scam so obvious only nostr:npub1acg6thl5psv62405rljzkj8spesceyfz2c32udakc2ak0dmvfeyse9p35c could fail to see it

but that isn't the worst part about statins. the worst part is any beneficial effects they may have on cholesterol profile are completely swamped by the damage they do elsewhere in the body, with the net effect being that patients on statins do not live any longer than those not on statins - they merely "enjoy" all the side effects and having to take the drugs and pay for them and constantly see the doctors ...

and the doctor just takes their blood test and says - see ? your cholesterol is lower. this means it's working ( TM )

Again, correlation diesn't imply causation necessarily, but I read a study that people that take statins are more likely to have strokes.

But, of course, people taking statins already have many other problems.

if kids were taught statistics instead of gender and African studies it would have been more difficult to manipulate the masses into taking Statins or Vaccines but that's exactly why that stuff isn't taught

taking statins for cholesterol is like shooting somebody with a shotgun point blank to take out their tumor

you may take out most of the tumor but you're not going to extend the life span of the victim or make what time they have left more enjoyable. if you don't kill them immediately that is.

like MRNA, statins are a powerful drug with only partially understood effects that is prescribed based on some very dodgy premises ...

we are lucky to have RFK putting some anti-statin people into his MAHA administration and in general Trump administration is actually fairly decent for America but sadly this comes at the price of Epstein Client Listers continuing their genocide of Palestinians and general destruction of the middle east for the Jews ...

reminds me of the correlation that every mass shooter was on SSRIs

as if SSRIs are just randomly prescribed to completely well adjusted people

SSRIs are specifically prescribed to people who do not want to live so to say that all mass shooters are on SSRIs is basically like saying "all people involved in murder-suicides are suicidal"

WOW, what a revelation !

sadly this still counts as profound insight among right wingers ...

i will concede, however that there is a difference between suicide and murder-suicide and SSRIs *may* in fact be uniquely triggering mass shootings but if you're going to use that correlation as evidence you have to adjust for the fact that they were suicidal to begin with before they went on SSRIs ...

just like how you have to adjust for the fact that people on Statins may have been unhealthy before they started the drug ...

but Statins aren't prescribed for things like chest pain. they are prescribed for high cholesterol.
