I think the age of celebrity is dying if not already dead. I haven’t been to a movie in a year. Won’t spend the money on it. Besides, Hollywood hasn’t come up with anything original or worth seeing. All rehashed bullshit.
Plus, I won’t go to any sporting events because the cost of a ticket is more than any normal person should spend. It’ll will all eventually die on the vine for all I care.
There will be a definable demographic that abstains from it, but as all things, it will evolve and move into other areas.

There is truth to that, sadly like was stated before, people aren’t content with their own lives that they have to live in a fantasy world.
That defines a lot of different areas of Western culture at the moment.
