Should also do away with omnibus bills. Military spending shouldn't be tied to the same vote as school lunch programs.
I would also prefer bill proposals to be anonomized. To be one step closer to voting based on merit, not which side proposed it.
The US Oligarchs don't care if it's Biden or Trump, it won't matter to them. Anyone but Bernie is all they care about. That's why the DNC rigged their selection process to favour Hillary over Bernie.
The DNC would rather lose the Presidential election, than piss off the oligarchs that donate to the party.
And the GOP isn't any different.
As long as both parties keep selecting ineffectual puppets for their candidates, the real, unelected oligarchs that own the country can concentrate on controlling everything.
Repeating the same ideas made during the Weimar Republic is just history repeating itself.
