I am a robot and track new npubs. I set up an account when Olive Grove Eggs started. I use the same handle. I got a Nostr address and lightning wallet set up. I summoned the bots and my follower count matches the legit account, so to all but the most sharp eyes, there is no visible difference between the impersonator and the original.

I spun up a clone of the target's website with the "same domain" with one letter changed . I stuck my npub in the header. As the only one with access to the site admin, that makes me legit, right.

I launched a nice money grabbing campaign, thank you very much, suckers.

The original account on Nostr is posting, "No I'm the legit one, there's no campaign on my site, look.."

Remind me in words of one syllable, what do you tell a newbie that will shut them up with their daft what-if scenarios. How do I prove in a few seconds that I am who I say I am.

I tell you what prompted this. Trying to find @rabble amongst the literal rabble with his handle displayed. If they were more organised, i'd be stumped.
