What would you propose if it went tits up? Surely statism on a #Bitcoin standard would be completely different to what we see today, I’m in no way saying it’s the answer but I believe that anarchy is without doubt not the answer.

What would we do about the control of 3D printed weapons? Biological weapons? Atomic weapons? Murder rates? Rape? Do we remove all civil servants such as police officers who are funded by the very government we’ve removed?

The only thing I could think of is a liturgy type system which the ancient Greeks used, where taxation was voluntary.

I genuinely just have no idea what the answer would be tbh just curious to see what others would think.

"It becomes an issue if people are forced or coerced to participate in or with that group."

This is pretty much why I have absolutely zero faith in anarchism, because the majority of the world and society is driven by egocentric and unconscious behaviours, it’s a dangerous game in which bad actors would without doubt arrive, our technologies and weapons are becoming too strong, so you would most likely end up forming some form of governing body regardless.

I hear where you are coming from and don't entirely disagree, there are hurdles.

as for 3d guns, there are still normal firearms being illegally bought and sold even with our governance system, so i (personally) think that is a moot point. i think chemical weapons, atomic weapons, etc are probably a better/more realistic concern about removing governance.

money broadly allows people to specialize in skills and division of labor. I believe there will still be detectives, personal or communal protection. but in my opinion using a central government to divide the citizens wealth to the proper channels CAN (not always) usually be done quicker and cheaper had the people done the work themselves, or find someone else specialized in said skill.

I think there is some credibility to the Greek liturgy system or some sort of city state alternative, which *should* in my opinion be opt in.

I don't have any real solutions to these problems, I'm just painfully aware that expecting bought&sold politicians don't have their constituents best interests at heart. maybe a new money with a good incentive structure can fix that, but i don't have faith that the government can course correct itself.

I’m an optimist I ain’t stressing it haha, just trying to get opinions on the matter, I truly believe anarchy isn’t the answer though personally, education, incentive structures and solid money is a start I guess.

im an optimist too! education and #bitcoin seem to be the best shot we got. happy we are here 🫂🤙
