Genuinely, it depends on the context & person, right? While I’m capable of arguing almost anything: choosing to recognize when it falls on deaf ears may matter.

Why waste energy? Sometimes I’ll reply to things here knowing the person I reply to won’t care. It’s possible someone else will. That’s the point of social media. It’s “social” in a way real life isn’t.
