Have a look at the Messagease keyboard.

It's completely detached from the "querty" layout and designed for phone/tablet use.

Been using it on Android for years and love it. It's a bit clunky and old though. I'm not even sure, if it's still being developed. 😅

Definitely a "fresh" approach to typing on touchscreens.

Have a look at this and save to homescreen.

I’ve been toying with the keyboard layout for a week and going to start adding some features / functions shortly.

MusicLM on the left column

nostr on the centre column

WebRTC on the right column

Have a couple of other ideas too, but all quite a new UX and UI.
