Sorry to hear that. I have learned that sometimes, those who have hurt us will offer no acknowledgment nor apology. Then it falls on us to move forward alone. Life ain’t fair, as my dad used to say. And that’s ok.

You can still become the best, most loving version of yourself without anyone’s help, and that is truly the best ‘retribution’ because you can stop yourself from being hurt.
