So far I've weighted my options and come to these three options:

1. Artix/Parabola Linux: I'm familiar with Arch, it will probably have more packages available. Cons: It's Arch.

2. MX Linux / Devuan: Debian but good, MX Linux has some neat tools available and a newer kernel available from the get go. Cons: APT eww

3. Void Linux / Gentoo / GUIX: The meme trifecta, I'm familiar with all three distributions but it would also take me time to get everything running. Cons: Install Gentoo
