I think Bitcoin is a paradigm shift and there for we can expect its adoption to look like that of previous paradigm shifts.

Agreed. We’re in the messy period of the paradigm shift where anomalies are piling up, but for a lot of people they are still able to convince themselves that the answers lay in the old paradigm.
Eventually, the anomalies will be so plentiful, and it will become so clear that the old paradigm does not have the ability to meet them. This will lead to an absurdity of existence where we become willing to look to a new paradigm for answers.
Some of us have gotten to that place. But when I check in with friends outside the Bitcoin space, it’s clear they are still seeking answers in the old paradigm.
