Two ways hubris effects the product process:

Engineers rush to produce solutions while Designers spend too much time perfecting solutions. Both will typically lead to mediocre solutions.

Rushing to a solution means you didn’t take enough time to understand the problem. And spending too much time “perfecting” the solution means you aren’t leaving room for new problems to come from your “solution”.

Humility fixes this.
