$500 BTC purchase - done @ very close to actual BTC price with $8.58 fee. Not crazy about fee but oh well, spread was reasonable.

Sending 0.019xxxxx BTC to my wallet via Lightning with zero fee & immediate confirmation = priceless.

Shipping to cold cold cold storage shortly = 10000000% necessary.

Buy more plebs. For yourself & family. Don’t worry about others so much. If they don’t get it yet, I/we just don’t have time to explain or convince.

Why not go from CashApp directly to cold storage? I guess you just wanted to get it into self custody immediately…? This is of course guessing that you’re sending the CashApp balance to a self custody Lightning wallet.

Your guess is correct. Off anything not controlled by me immediately to self custody LW.

Then cold which is a little more work. Not much. Just a little.
