Beginning to think? To me it feels (and I use feels) like we found the can that was kicked in 08. My hope is we finally trip over the damn thing and sort the mess that ensues. Another kick of this can is unimaginable to me.

Ugly is an understatement I fear and I consider myself an optimist. 😬

I'm inclined to think that way, too, but if the past few decades have taught me anything it's that this mess can last *a lot longer* than any rational person usually thinks it can. "The market can stay irrational longer than you can remain solvent." Guess we'll see. 🤷

Fair point and the costs add up. Eventually the bill is due. Is this the check finally sitting on the table?

Whether or not it's today, the day is certainly coming when the bill is, in fact, due.
