any concerns with security running other apps apart from lightning on your BTC node???

Not particularly. I also don't have a ton of funds locked up in lightning channels and the node itself has the bare minimum sats that can't be swept due to fee bumping on channel close.

Running a nostr relay, lightning node, and snowflake proxy. No major issues.

I have a umbrel Pi. Would like to understand how to add Nostr to the mix. Any link or lead?

I would suggest to keep them segregated, and if possible, on a separate networks. If you value your security, this is the best way! 🐶🐾🫡

If you need a reason. Any compromise on a relay (not yet that we’ll tested) may result in the compromise of the whole node. You want to keep attack surface as small as possible! 🐶🐾🫡🤙🏻

yer this is what im thinking, I only know enuf to be dangerous so put a moat around it and sleep well at night. Just get another PI for a relay and other shit

Different subnet. Firewall between the subnets and the internet. Only comm on allowed ports, etc. in fact, I’d keep relay somewhere in the ☁️🐶🐾🫡
