All my best friends are cartoons on the Internet. Slowly adjusting to combining this with the physical world.

It stays strange (most often in a good way), even when you start putting real faces to avatars and nyms.

I really do wonder how many people who fall into bitcoin, actually have prior experience with decentralized, pseudonymous, outlaw/rebel culture BEFORE getting into space.

I think many do, but most just never stop to think about it…

Oh I do. GenX and early on the Internet. No one used their real names. In some ways it’s nice because it’s easier to speak freely, especially if you have a regular job. Since I now have an irregular job mining #Bitcoin and my boss doesn’t care, I believe attaching my real identity can help with trust. I would never have considered doing this before experiencing the positive vibes on Nostr.

I was taught in elementary school I could be anyone online as long as I was curious and polite.

Usernames were encouraged to protect our identity. I use an alias here if you want to find me you can. I try an own my brand on every platform. I just hope that there's more positive from my digital footprint than positive. I am a real human just don't need to be a celebrity

👆This.

For me it was Capoeira culture…

Woah, gonna have to read about that.

Working on it!
