lol. Well I was able to get rid of the spam bots by removing damus relays from my global feed. Amethyst has a cool feature where it tells you what relays a post is on and also let's you disable specific features for each relay.
It seems like amethyst has a lot of cool features, but it’s too bad the guy that makes it censors me.

You didn’t see the drama about how if someone fake reports you as spam, your posts get hidden?
No I didn't. My last reply didn't get sent but I looked into compiling my own copy of the app cus that's insane, and I have noticed that replies keep getting censored from certain accounts... The latest version of the app seems to be much better though and doesn't seem to have that censorship built in.
Do you have anything I could read about what happened? Did the creator target you in particular?
So the tldr is that some cryptards reported me as “spam” because I btfo’d them, and Amethyst will mark someone’s posts as spam if like 5 of your follows reported them. Something like that.
Oh wow. That's one thing I hate about this app, it has a lot of features you can't control. The relay management is really good but it's lacking elsewhere.
I do want to make more 3d catblob renderings but those didn't take off on the fedi and idk if they would here unless I pandered and made the cats hold Bitcoin
