Yea this works, but makes a new note with new interactions (likes etc).
I was looking for smth like a repost but as a reply. I I repost someone the interactions go to the original note.
Probably doesn't exist but would be a cool feature. 🤷

Oh ok I see what you’re asking. Doesn’t exist as far as I know. Could be useful but could also be misconstrued to imply that the person replied to a note when they didn’t if the UI didn’t make it clear what was going on.
The closest thing I know of is Amethyst allows you to set zap splits on individual posts, so if you quote another note you can set it so a portion of any zaps go to the author of the note you quoted.
