When we make cash a liability literally no one has any money, it’s all credit. The brain melt will be insane.
Im not that smart, but somehow I dont see them doing it. too many expect it. I suspect they will use cbdc in some way that no one has considered. not sure what that looks like, just a gut feeling at this point.
My uneducated guess is that saving accounts (liabilities) of defaulting commercial banks will be pushed on the balance sheet of the central Bank and converted to a CBDC.
FDIC insurance won't cover what's coming and people will gladly accept the deal.
The commercial banks will be able to restructure that way.
