My problem is I fit in with absolutely no groups and I have high standards and I have no tolerance for modernity’s insanity. The road I walk is a lonely one and I know this.
Thankfully I have a handful of ride or die friends who I consider family. That’s enough to stay happy.
I can relate. I think a lot of people just take a backseat and allow themselves to spin their wheels in bad relationships, bad health, bad jobs…
I would rather be on my own than putting energy into a relationship that is not a positive experience.
But when you meet someone special that you can be excited to see and share things with, that is an awesome feeling and can be so motivating in all areas of life.
I see the people who settle a lot. I’ve never been one of those. I am much happier on my own than with someone I don’t respect or can’t get along with, learned this quite young.
Someone special is great, but a rare find for me. It’s happened, and I appreciated it, but it can’t be attained other than through luck.
