Word is incredibly underpowered for being around for 30 years and controlled by one of the most valuable companies in the world. Truly disappointing.

And Apple’s Pages isn’t intuitive either. Wtf are they doing!?

Office suites in general suck LibreOffice and OnlyOffice are no better. Pages maybe makes laying out images in docs easier.

Tbh I’ve started writing everything in markdown as it’s just as easy and grammar checking is available a lot of different ways now. Also easier for me to auto translate if I need to.

Markdown is really the only way, and grammar checking is only necessary in certain situations, like when you're helping your uncle jack off a horse.
