Everytime I use a credit card or bank account im gambling on whether or not its going to let me spend as money

True. Once you put “your” money in their bank, it becomes “their” money unless they feel inclined to let you have some of it back.
And CC’s are a gamble if they decide to lower your credit line or just not let a payment process.
They want their 2% or whatever so they’re appropriately motivated.
